Tamale Festival
Volunteers
Approximately 300 volunteers
of all ages and backgrounds and abilities pitch in and help make the Indio International
Tamale Festival such a success. Typically volunteers commit to a 4-hour
shift Saturday or Sunday. Some really get into it and commit more than
that.
It’s fun and rewarding. Duties vary from section monitors in the Holiday Parade Saturday morning to registration,
cashiering, greeting buses, parking lot assistance and more. We can
accommodate those who need to sit and those who like to be on the move. You
can let us know what duty you’d like to take on and we’ll do our best to
match you with your request.
Volunteers receive a commemorative Festival tee-shirt and a couple of
dollars to help with a meal at any of our 70+ tamale booths. And you
receive our sincere appreciation.
Download the application on this web site. Print it off and send it in, or
simply call us, either to register or get more information. Thanks.
